Learning to work at a large scale is both physically and mentally difficult in comparison other art forms. Avena has completed both solo mural pieces and helped with group projects at festivals and Brisbane's inner city streets. She currently has a work in King George Square car park as part of the Vibrant Lane Ways Project for emerging local artists. She has recently started live painting at music and art festivals with fluorescent paints.
