Avena Osborn is an interdisciplinary fine artist, she has been practicing art for over twenty years honing her skills in painting, illustration, sculpture and wearable art. Avena graduated from Griffith's QCA in 2016 with a double major in painting and jewellery, then delved straight into festival art galleries and market stalls, selling art and making connections.

Shifting between mediums her work can vary in style yet she has distinctive strength in hyper-realism, love of detail and vibrant earthy colours. She draws inspiration from nature, personal growth, dreamscapes, fantasy worlds, pop culture and book illustrations. Lighting is a key factor in  her work, by utilising ultraviolet lights and the illuminating effects of fluorescent and glowing acrylics she creates vibrant multilayered artworks which come to life in the dark and mesmerise audiences.
